I am 27 years old.
I am married to Jason, the love of my life, who makes each and every day better.
I am a stay at home Mom to our daughter Charlotte and son James and I love this job more than anything else I could possibly be doing.
I am an alumna of The University of Alabama and a huge supporter of all athletics and academic programs there. We spend a lot of weekends in the fall in Tuscaloosa cheering on the Tide.
I graduated with a degree in Computer Science and that makes me an engineer. My personality goes right along with most (not all, just most!) stereotypes of engineers...I'm very type A, organized, analytical, and love solving problems. I'm not the most outgoing person but I love my friends so much and am so thankful for them being in my life.
I love my Lord, Jesus Christ, my husband, my daughter, my son, reading, blogging, photography, and sewing...in that order!
My husband is Jason.
He is 28 years old.
He is an aerospace engineer (yes, a rocket scientist) who works on helicopters.
Jason is my very best friend and he knows how to make me laugh when no one else can.
He is also a graduate of The University of Alabama and he loves Alabama as much as I do.
He is a sports nut who grew up playing baseball and played in college including at The University for a year. His favorite team is probably the Braves but so that I don't disown him he says that Alabama is his favorite. His favorite sport is probably still baseball but football and golf are right up there.
Jason also loves history and continues to baffle me by reading these really thick books about exciting topics like the Crusades and Civil War battles.
Our daughter is Charlotte.
She is 2 and a half.
She is all over the place! She loves animals (especially dogs) and her favorite color is purple.
Charlotte is named after my Mom and after many in our family whose name is a form of Charles. Our families are so important to us which is why we chose to honor them by naming Charlotte after them.
She has made our lives so much fun and filled our house with so much love!
Our son is James.
He was born in September of 2011.
Although we're still learning a lot about him since he's so new to us, we love every second that we get to spend with him and are so glad that God blessed our family with him.
James is named after Jason's Dad (the James) and my Dad (the Ronald).
Luca is our first "child".
He is a Yorkshire Terrier/Poodle mix who will is five.
He is a handful and doesn't love Charlotte running after him, but he is so sweet and loves to cuddle with us.
Jason and I got married in July of 2006 after dating for five and a half years. We are so blessed to have the life and family that we have. I wouldn't want to spend my days with anyone else! We look forward to the many many years ahead of us!
